GREAT NEWS!

As you know, I refer to this website as “ours”… And it is important that “you” shape it’s direction.

I will be filming new videos with a dietitian who specializes in eating disorders. We have worked together in the past and I really think she is one of the best in the field. I had lunch with her the other day and we were talking about my website (Healthy Mind, Healthy Body). I feel that there is a lot of information to cover and I want to make sure that she addresses any specific questions/concerns that you may have! SOOOO here is your big chance to guide the next series of videos…

What I need from you:

• Post (on this thread only) questions and or concerns that you want to see answered specifically by a dietitian.

That’s it! I will take it from there…. Filming starts at the beginning of July so DON’T wait to get your opinion heard.

Wow, I am looking forward to these videos already!
OK, so I dont know whether I'm doing this right, but I'll say it anyway. You don't have to answer it:)
Sometimes I feel like a fake - like my ED isn't a real ED. Like some of my binges are just habit and I should be able to stop them. May be I just need more focus? I do know one thing that is supposed to stop binges - eating regularly throughout the day. But the thing is, I can't eat at work, and now I have got to the point where I can't even cook or prepare food in my own kitchen! So I guess my question is, is there anything else you could suggest, certain foods maybe, that might reduce these 'habit' binges?

Love this idea! I can't wait for the videos, I have a few questions .. What's the effect of starving, binging and purging on metabolism? I feel like I gain weight back very quickly and I'm worried I've messed up my metabolism. So how do I know what I need anymore ?
Hw do you re learn what normal eating is? I cant remember, how do you know when to stop and when you're full vs when your ED says you've had enough.
Advice about eating in social settings ? If there's nothing safe how do we deal without basically panicking and bolting
