This worksheet could help you stay grounded when working through trauma and dissociation. 

I have talked about grounding techniques in many of my videos. Especially the ones about dissociation or depersonalization, and I know it can be hard to stay present when we are triggered. It can even be hard when we aren’t triggered and the urge to dissociate comes out of nowhere!

I usually have my clients count colors in the room, use their five sense to stay grounded, or even just keep silly putty in their hand. Here is a worksheet with some similar options to help you stay present and work through the trauma with your therapist. Let’s get started!
