Sometimes in order to recover we have to be able to compromise. Today when I got home from work I really wanted a potato roll with cream cheese and jelly. But I know that it has been a major binge food lately so instead I had a salad and then put the cream cheese and Jelly on a rice cake instead. While it may seem like oh Im just trying to get less calories in, ok maybe thats a little, but was more about getting that taste I craved without the feeling of needing to purge. might seem like nothing but i felt pretty good about it. Plus realizing that Im going to college i might as well get used to making healthier food choices so im not stuck in the trap of constantly wanting to binge and purge while im there. It just seemed like a good start!
